Character background- Write a background for your character. Talk about how you ended up in the apocalypse and what sort of person your character is- try to keep things realistic: Seth Grado, Born January 18, 1995. His parents were scientists who focused on biology and worked a lot leaving there work life hidden from Seth. Seth was a quiet kid due to a speech impediment that he had developed throughout his younger years. He was bullied throughout all of his school days and was known for his stutter, developing a nickname "Stuttering Seth". Although Seth hated school he was very athletic and enjoyed sports, he participated in many extra curricular activities. Seth was very fond of archery and practiced often. Since Seth hated school and his parents never cared for him, Seth would go out everyday after school and play in the forest near his house. With the love for archery, Seth bought a bow to help hunt in the forest and a knife for filleting meat. Throughout the years Seth developed hunting and stalking skills like no other. Being a quiet and antisocial person finally paid off for Seth. After Highschool, Seth did not want to go to university or collage due to the expenses and took a few years off to figure out what he wanted to do. After a few years had passed, Seth had made up his mind that he wanted to go to a place where very little people would go and wanted to live alone and just go off the grid. He knew that no one would bother to find him if he left and no one cared for him in the first place, so he went online to find a place.  He stumbled upon an old island named Chernarus. This island was a former-Soviet Republic country that had gained independance during the 1990's due to the fall of the Soviet Union. Seth was interested because not many people would be interested in living on an old military island. Packing his bags, Seth bought a 1 way ticket to Chernarus and all his survival necessities. Arriving in Chernarus, he was shocked to see how many people were living in Chernarus and wanted nothing to do with the people there, so he started to build a little cabin in the forest for himself to live in. Seth would hunt everyday to make sure he had food and get fresh water at a lake a kilometre or so away from his cabin. After about a few weeks, Seth had heard rumours about a sickness that is going around by the town folk that travelled near his cabin. The sickness would turn people into cannibals and anyone who was bit would turn insane as well. Seth brushed it off because that was impossible and it was only things that lived in movies and video games, so he went on with his day. That night, Seth had wounded a deer and was tracking it to make sure he had food for the next day, but when he arrived at the deer there was a man tearing the deer apart. Seth shouted at the man to stop and that he would get sick and die if he ate the deer raw, but the man continued to rip and eat the deer. Seth thought the man was mad and tried to force the man to stop but instead the man jumped on to Seth and attacked him. As Seth was fighting the man, he managed to get a rock and hit the man in the head. The man covered in deer blood was getting ready to jump at Seth once again. Seth without a flinch grabbed his rifle and shot the man dead. After shooting the man, Seth inspected his body and saw that there was a big bite mark on his neck and rib cage. Seth was frightened and headed straight back to his cabin and locked himself in, Seth packed his gear and waited to see what tomorrow would bring him...

Good application, however I'd like to point out that Chernarus isn't an island it's a fictional place in Russia. I'm not holding that against you though so accepted!
